Low esteem applies to people who are ashamed of their own national dress, instead they have adopted western attire. West will have to live like Asia under the constraints of resource limitations or become history.

Peace in Afghanistan; US is the problem and not the solution like every where else. Afghanistan does not need the US; neither do Pakistan and India, but the three neighbors and China desperately need one another; their needs and prosperity are interlinked, US IS THE OBSTACLE AND THE SPOILER WITH HEGEMONIC DESIGNS AND NOTHING ELSE.

Landlocked central Asian states want their oil and gas to flow via pipelines in Afghanistan and Pakistan to serve ever increasing energy needs of India and China. China desperately needs the Pakistan deep sea Port of Gawader to unload middle eastern oil for transport by rail and road to Chinese border. Both India and China desperately need Pakistani and Afghanistan rail and road links to export their industrial produce to central Asia. Add Iran, Russia and Turkey to this club; and throw in Iran's oil and Gas, sea ports, rail and road links; you get one of the biggest trading region, self sufficient in energy and industrial goods. Iraq is a majority Shia country with very close links with Iran. Iraq will also join this regional club. The Sunni Iraqis despise the west for what they did to Saddam, and the autonomous oil rich Kurdish region wont get its oil out of the country with out good relations with both Turkey and Shia dominated government. Forget about the out dated bluster and disinformation in western media; the reality on the ground is simple and staring in the face.

It is fairly obvious, necessity will bring all these countries together and their is no shortage or lack of investment capitol from China Russia and India. This region will completely sideline the IMF and the world bank, the two neo-colonial relics. The Great Game at work since the days imperial Britain and imperial Russia is finally coming to and end; America and the west have used up all their cards; including the military trump card. It is just a matter of five years to a decade before America and the west will be in complete check mate.

As for the pawns like Pakistan and Afghanistan; they are finally sensing a sigh of relief. They will be the biggest winners; not only will they gain respite from the hegemonic bullies, they will at last see some prosperity for their war ravaged people.

There are two aspects to appeal of zero; or it will never take off. In the face of America's overwhelming conventional military might coupled with military spending exceeding that of the rest of the world put together; likes of Russia and China will leave themselves open to American military aggression. The second aspect is American unrelenting quest for hegemony; the likes of Russia and China will be committing suicide.

In the absence of balance of conventional military might between the main protagonist, one can forget about nuclear disarmament, it will never happen despite the good intentions.

The comparison with Qater is most inappropriate. If there was no oil or gas in Qater, the poverty there will be no different to UP. On second thought, the rent and revenue from American base in Qater perhaps will give some GDP to the tiny country.

Pakistan army is doing exactly the same as what America did to Pakistan through out its relationship with Pakistan. America time and again deceived Pakistan.
