@Nirvana-bound: The majority of Venezuelans will also find in the latest news a great source of joy. There's hope now that they'll get rid of the inept and corrupt regime that has masterfully completed a reverse economic miracle in Venezuela. Venezuelans also hope that they'll finally shed the Cuban handlers and parasite satellite countries sucking Venezuela dry. It's true we shouldn't write off this Tropical Furher, he's a talented clown. The best farewell possible is to promise him to exhume his body in public to find the "real cause" of his death - just like he did to Simon Bolivar, our founding father in the most grotesque display of megalomania in the history of Venezuela.
Hugo Chavez's declining health will be a greater source of joy for Uncle Sam than the Venezualen opposition, for obvious reasons! American authorities will be holding their collective breaths & salivating in the corridors of power, waiting for 'it' to happen!
But don't write him off, just yet. He has unfinished work with 'Imperial America', that will definitely keep him ticking a while longer!
